The Stanhope Elmore Mustangs defeated Paul Bryant 35-13 in the first round of the playoffs last Friday at home.

The Mustangs enter the game with a 9-3 record.... The Mustangs' defense is only allowing 13.8 points a game.

They qualified for the playoffs by finishing 2nd in Class 6A Region 3.
